Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu Pockets w/ Mustard Cream Sauce

RECIPE:

Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu Pockets w/ Mustard Cream Sauce

Servings: 4 people

Prep Time:10-15minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise 
  • 3 tbsp dijon mustard, divided
  • 4 Chicken Melts Flatbread Pocket Sandwiches 
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted 
  • 1 ½ tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 2 tbsp parsley leaves, garnish 

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line sheet pan with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. Unwrap pocket sandwiches, wrap in paper towel, and microwave 3 minutes or until warmed through.
  3. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and 1 tbsp Dijon mustard; mix well and set aside.
  4. Brush each pocket sandwich with Dijon mixture all over; coat with all sides bread crumbs; place over prepared sheet pan and drizzle with 1 ½ tbsp melted butter; bake for 15 minutes or till golden.
