RECIPE:
Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu Pockets w/ Mustard Cream Sauce
Servings: 4 people
Prep Time:10-15minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp dijon mustard, divided
- 4 Chicken Melts Flatbread Pocket Sandwiches
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 ½ tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp parsley leaves, garnish
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line sheet pan with parchment paper; set aside.
- Unwrap pocket sandwiches, wrap in paper towel, and microwave 3 minutes or until warmed through.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and 1 tbsp Dijon mustard; mix well and set aside.
- Brush each pocket sandwich with Dijon mixture all over; coat with all sides bread crumbs; place over prepared sheet pan and drizzle with 1 ½ tbsp melted butter; bake for 15 minutes or till golden.
